Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack’s season could be over after suffering a knee injury at Ibrox.

Rangers have suffered a bitter blow after midfielder Ryan Jack was reportedly ruled out for the rest of the season as he may be forced to undergo knee surgery – and fans are devastated on Twitter.
The 25-year-old was forced off the Ibrox pitch in the 41st minute of Rangers’ 2-0 win over Motherwell on December 27, and now the Daily Record have claimed the former Aberdeen captain may have to undergo surgery to correct the problem.
It is believed that medics expect Jack will have to remain sidelined for the rest of the season, in what will come as a huge blow to manager Graeme Murty – with Jack being a mainstay under the 43-year-old boss.

Jack was left behind at Auchenhowie as the Gers squad jetted off to Florida to face Corinthians and Atletico Mineiro during the winter break, after missing the Old Firm derby on Hogmanay due to Cedric Kipre’s robust challenge.
Rangers have plenty of cover in the middle of the park including new signing Sean Goss as well as Jordan Rossiter who recently returned to training. However, Rangers fans reacted to the news in frustrated mood on Twitter.
One fan described Jack’s potential season-ending injury as a “real blow.”
