Controversial star Morrison is back at Lazio, but he is considering a move to Rangers?

Ravel Morrison has been caught following a whole host of Rangers players and manager Steven Gerrard on Instagram after he returned to Lazio from a loan spell in Mexico – and Gers fans have discussed the possibility of signing him.
The 25-year-old has entered the final six months of his contract with Serie A outfit Lazio, where England youth international Morrison has struggled since joining the club from West Ham in the summer of 2015.
Morrison has been on a succession of loans after managing only eight career appearances for the Italian side, rejoining QPR for the second half of the 2016-17 season before trying something new in Mexico with Atlas.
He was in decent form for the Liga MX side, scoring three goals in 20 games from midfield. Now back at Lazio and with the club likely to want rid of Morrison, a Rangers fan page picked up his Instagram activity.
Indeed, Morrison has recently followed Rangers’ official page, manager Gerrard and players Ryan Kent, Joe Worrall and Jon Flanagan.
There is no doubt that Morrison has some serious talent. But he has been criticised for going about his career in the wrong way – Rio Ferdinand is famous for saying Morrison stood out more than Paul Pogba in Manchester United’s academy.
Certainly a controversial figure, Morrison was fined for intimidating a witness at knife point, throwing his girlfriend’s phone out of a window and being fined constantly – and that was just during his days at Manchester United.
An issue with agents and Sam Allardyce put paid to his time at West Ham, and now he is labouring in Lazio’s reserves. Rangers fans reacted to his activity on Instagram, with some excited – one even compared him to Paul Gascoigne.
