Glasgow Rangers lost to RB Leipzig in a mid-season friendly in Germany.
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter following their disappointing mid-season friendly defeat to RB Leipzig. And while the result was disappointing, it was the performance of two Gers players that was one of the main talking points on social media.
As well as the permanent acquisition of David Bates, Mark Warburton has made another two signings during this window with Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman both moving to Ibrox until the end of the season.

And with the Scottish Premiership currently enjoying a winter break, both men got the opportunity to pull on the Light Blues jersey for the first time in the friendly in Germany.
However, both will perhaps want to forget the result as soon as possible as the side currently second in the Bundesliga ran out 4-0 winners against the Gers.
While the result was less than ideal, there were some positives and arguably, some of them centred around the performances of Toral and Hyndman.

The former started the game and nearly got onto the scoresheet but his goal was controversially disallowed when the score was 2-0.
He was replaced by the man on loan from Bournemouth at the break, who also received some plaudits from supporters.
