Glasgow Rangers defender James Tavernier has been linked with the Ibrox exit.

Tavernier has done well since arriving at Ibrox during Mark Warburton’s tenure, often proving to be one of the most prolific providers of goals and assists – even though he is a defender.

Only teammate Daniel Candeias has provided more assists than the five that Tavernier has contributed in the top flight this term, while he has also managed to find the back of the net on three occasions.
However, it appears that he may not be a Rangers player for much longer, with the Daily Mail recently suggesting that both Sunderland and the Royals are keen on bringing him back to England, and, perhaps surprisingly, the Gers are reportedly open to the idea of selling the 26-year-old.

The Mail adds that Tavernier has just 18 months left on his contract with the Scottish Premiership side and would be interested in considering a potential move away.
The news has prompted plenty of discussion amongst the Rangers fans on social media, and the majority of the supporters feel that selling him would be a mistake, and thus, the Light Blues board should only consider doing business with one of the interested sides if they receive big-money bids.
