The bookmakers appear to believe that there is a chance that Glasgow Rangers could attempt to bring Graham Potter to Ibrox.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the fact that Graham Potter is now the 7/2 second favourite with Sky Bet to be the Gers boss on the opening day of next season.
Despite winning at the weekend, it is looking increasingly unlikely that Graeme Murty will be kept on as first-team boss by the Gers next season. After showing a lot of promise earlier in the year, the campaign looks set to fizzle out with second place in the Scottish Premiership pretty much the best they can hope for this term.

With no official word on what lies ahead for Murty, it is not clear what direction the board plan to go in regarding next season so the Rangers fans would be forgiven for looking at the betting odds in the hope that they provide some indication of what could potentially happen this summer.

Potter has worked wonders in Sweden, guiding his side from the fourth tier in the country to the Europa League knockout stages in his first job in management. And that ability to build a team has got a number of Rangers fans expressing their hope that there may be something in the odds on social media.
It would be a gamble – and his lack of experience has put several supporters off – but it appears that there would be plenty of fans who would be right behind an appointment if anything came of the odds in the coming months and the Rangers board decided to target Potter at the end of the season.
Here is the best of the reaction…
