Hyndman made his Premier League debut on Sunday, after spending the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Rangers.

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman made his Premier League debut for the Cherries on Sunday as Eddie Howe’s side recorded an impressive 2-1 victory late on against Burnley – and Rangers fans reacted to the star’s Tweet.
Hyndman, 22, has been made to wait all season for a chance to shine in Howe’s first team, with the likes of Lewis Cook, Dan Gosling, Harry Arter and Andrew Surman above him in the pecking order.

But the USA international started against Sean Dyche’s side on Sunday, and completed 59 minutes of the match before being replaced as Bournemouth scored a 93rd-minute winner to claim all three points.
The box-to-box midfielder posted on Twitter after making his debut for the Cherries, in what was his fourth senior appearance for Bournemouth this season after two games in the FA Cup and one in the Carabao Cup.
Hyndman spent the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan with Rangers under Pedro Caixinha, where he impressed north of the border in his 17 league and cup appearances. He scored four goals, and laid on four assists.
Now, Rangers fans have urged the former Fulham star to return to Ibrox this summer in replies to his Tweet, despite the two-time international having two years left to run on his contract at the Vitality Stadium.
One fan asked “who else could a midfielder want as a mentor” in an attempt to persuade Hyndman to reconsider Ibrox, after the Gers appointed former Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard as manager.
