Eduardo Herrera is linked with leaving Rangers after a disappointing season at Ibrox.

Part of Steven Gerrard’s task at Rangers is this summer is to separate his vision from former boss Pedro Caixinha’s failed vision.
That means selling players Caixinha felt were good enough, who do not feature in his own plans to bring success to Rangers, and he could start with Eduardo Herrera.
Herrera’s spell at Ibrox has been disappointing and he has been linked with an exit from Rangers over the weekend.

The striker is being linked with a return to Mexico, with news outlet Regio Deporte claiming Chivas are interested.
Whether Chivas are the club for Herrera or not, the fact the striker is getting linked with a departure so early in the transfer window is a good sign that there could be further interest from other clubs.

Rangers have been linked with bringing in a whole host of strikers from Jermain Defoe to Dominic Solanke to loanee Jason Cummings in recent days, and there is clearly going to be no space for Herrera, who barely featured under Graeme Murty.
Gers fans are keen for the club to move him on, but some have expressed sympathy, and feel he was never given a proper run of games in the side…
