Former Glasgow Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam has suggested that he would love to return to Ibrox on loan in January.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react to Charlie Adam’s comments – which have been reported by the Daily Record – where he hinted that he would love to make a loan return to Ibrox during the January transfer window.
Adam has endured a difficult time at Stoke City lately. He has made just 14 league appearances since the start of last season, with just five starts coming in that time, and just three substitute outings since their relegation to the Championship.
Unsurprisingly, Adam appears to be looking towards the January window and a potential move away – and it seems that Rangers would be his ideal destination.

Unfortunately for the 32-year-old, his comments have prompted a number of Gers fans to suggest that they do not want to see that deal take place – especially with the Belfast Telegraph recently reporting that plans are underway to bring Steven Davis back on loan.
Many feel that Davis would be a much better option for Gerrard’s side as they cannot see Adam being able to contribute as much having struggled to get into a Stoke side that have endured such an underwhelming time over the last year.

Here is how some of the Rangers fans responded to the ex-Ibrox midfielder’s comments…
