Rangers drew with Spartak’s youth side in a two-legged friendly.

Graeme Murty’s side surrendered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Spartak Moscow’s youth side on Thursday afternoon, with Andy Dallas and Stephen Kelly’s scored – and fans have begged for Dallas to be included in Rangers’ squad on the weekend.
The 19-year-old was pictured being promoted into the Gers’ senior side on Wednesday afternoon on the club’s official Instagram, as he continues to impress in Murty’s side.
Despite featuring in Gerrard’s training, he was included in the side to face Spartak’s Under-19 and it paid off – as he broke the deadlock in the 2-2 draw, lifting the ball over the keeping when played through by Josh McPake.
Kelly doubled Rangers’ advantage just after the break, scoring an excellent free-kick in the 49th minute that curled into the top corner to round off but Spartak came back to draw 2-2.

Rangers have plenty of options up front in Alfredo Morelos, Kyle Lafferty and loanee Umar Sadiq, though there have been rumours that the latter could return to parent club AS Roma after managing only 26 minutes of first-team action.
Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter to Dallas’ goal following his promotion to first-team training, with many asking if he would be available for the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday at Hampden Park against Aberdeen.
