Rangers boss Steven Gerrard held talks with Ravel Morrison.

Ravel Morrison has told The Times that he held talks with Rangers boss Steven Gerrard over a potential transfer.
The winger said he was grateful to Gerrard and Rangers for giving him a face to face meeting over a move, when other clubs have not granted him an opportunity.
Morrison has just signed for Swedish side Osterlunds, after a spell in Mexico with Atlas.
Morrison began his career with Manchester United, before moving to West Ham, and then Lazio.
He has shown flashes of quality but he has not fulfilled his potential.

Morrison’s contract at Osterlunds is only until the end of the season, raising the possibility that Rangers could still sign him on a free in the summer if he impresses in Sweden.
Rangers fans are not convinced, with Morrison still an enigma.
One compared him with Josh Windass, a player who fans felt had a questionable attitude. This is the side of Morrison’s game which has always been in doubt.
Here is a look at some of the reaction to Gerrard’s comments…
