Young-Coombes moved to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in January, signing a two-and-a-half year contract at Ibrox.

Rangers’ Under-17s are through to the semi-finals of the ALKASS International Cup after a 7-0 win against Ecoile Sportive du Sahel on Sunday.
Two Rangers strikers, Chris McKee and Nathan Young-Coombes, scored hat-tricks for David McCallum’s side, for whom Arron Lyall was also on target in Qatar.
But it was Young-Coombes in particular who caught the eye of those of a Gers persuasion.
The 16-year-old only moved to Ibrox from Chelsea’s youth system in January, on a contract until June 2021, and is already looking like an inspired piece of business.
This is what Rangers fans are saying about his performance on Twitter…
Young-Coombes, who had been on trial at Rangers, was previously on the books of Crystal Palace.
The Londoner has also been capped by England at up to under-15 level.
Rangers could play either AS Roma or Real Madrid in the semi-finals, with the pair due to face Spartak Moscow and Kashiwa later on Monday.
Could Young-Coombes make a breakthrough for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers first-team this season?
