Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to send praise to Ianis Hagi for his performance in the 2-0 Europa League win over Standard Liege.
A penalty from James Tavernier and an unbelievable strike from Kemar Roofe late on sealed the three points for Steven Gerrard’s side.
The result crowned a fantastic start to the Gers’ European campaign this term, and Hagi definitely played his part in helping them get the victory.
As seen on SofaScore, the Romanian had one shot – which went extremely close to flying in – while he had 40 touches in total.
Despite losing possession ten times, Hagi completed 21 of his attempted 26 passes, while he also won one ground duel and drew one freekick from Standard Liege.

Defensively, the Rangers No.7 did not allow himself to be dribbled past all evening, while he also registered one tackle.
He was subbed off for Joe Aribo shortly after the hour mark, but there’s no denying that the 22-year-old played a big part in the win.
The ex-Fiorentina player has continued his fine form in Europe, having been instrumental in the Gers’ spirited comeback win over Braga last season too – he appears to simply love this competition.

It’s no surprise that Gerrard shelled out £3 million to bring him to Ibrox permanently.
Let’s see what the Rangers supporters on Twitter have been saying about Hagi’s display…
