Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are praising Greg Docherty….but not for his performance.

You can take Greg Docherty out of Rangers, but….
Docherty may not have kicked a ball for Rangers this season after being sent on loan to Shrewsbury Town last summer, but it seems that he still considers himself a Ger.
The League One side were in FA Cup action on Saturday and some fans of the Ibrox club noticed what the 22-year-old did prior to kickoff.
The midfielder, who joined Rangers last January, was physically involved in the pre-match huddle, but he stood with both hands behind his back.
It was reminiscent of what Andy Halliday did during his loan at Gabala, and fans of the Scottish Premiership giants are praising Docherty for the gesture.
Docherty has been a big hit with the English side and held his own in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Stoke City.
It seems likely that he’ll get a chance to impress Steven Gerrard when he gets back, after the Rangers boss said that he ‘loves’ the former Hamilton man last month [Scottish Sun].
He has scored five and set up five in 22 League One outings.
