Rangers beat Hamilton Academical 5-0 at Ibrox this afternoon.

Rangers moved top of the Scottish Premiership table this afternoon as they beat Hamilton Academical 5-0 at Ibrox in a comfortable win.
The Gers lost 2-1 at Young Boys in their Europa League clash on Thursday, so Steven Gerrard was unsurprisingly keen to get back to winning ways today.
His side wasted no time getting the scoring started, as Jermain Defoe found the net inside the first seven minutes, with Connor Goldson adding a second before the break.
Borna Barisic scored the third just past the hour mark, before Defoe scored two more to complete his hat-trick and a thoroughly convincing win for Rangers.
With Celtic losing 2-0 at Livingston earlier in the day, Rangers have moved top of the table, and it came despite Gerrard making a few surprise decisions.
Greg Stewart was handed a start, whilst defender George Edmundson came in to partner Connor Goldson for just a third league appearance for the club.

Edmundson joined Rangers from Oldham Athletic this summer, with he and Filip Helander joining Goldson and Nikola Katic as Gerrard’s centre back options.
Now, some fans believe that Edmundson is actually better than big-money signing Helander, and praised him for an ‘excellent’ display.
Others feel that the young centre back is the next Rangers captain, believing he has a huge future ahead of him having strolled through a convincing win over Hamilton.
