Daniel Candeias impressed for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers today.

Daniel Candeias has responded very well to the threat that Sheyi Ojo has brought to Rangers.
The Portuguese winger scored two first-half goals this afternoon as Steven Gerrard’s side thumped Marseille 4-0 at Ibrox.
Candeias’s spot in Gerrard’s first XI is under threat this season after Rangers signed Ojo – a right-sided winger – on loan from Liverpool earlier this summer.
But the 31-year-old has given the Gers’ boss something to think about with a brilliant brace.
And here’s how Rangers fans reacted to his display:
It was a very emphatic win for the light Blues, who were helped on their way with goals from Connor Goldson and Jermain Defoe in the second half.
Ojo appears to be ahead of Candeias in the pecking order, by virtue of the fact that he started and scored in the demolition of St Joseph’s but, going by this display, Candeias isn’t going to give up.
The former Benfica ace joined Rangers during Pedro Caixinha’s spell in charge two years ago, netting 11 Premiership goals in 70 outings.
