Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been tweeting a former player recently.

Rangers fans have been tweeting Clint Hill recently after the veteran centre-back reminded everyone that he isn’t past it just yet.
Hill, who turns 40 in October, left Rangers last summer after being told by then-manager Pedro Caixinha that he would not have a role to play this season.
It was suggested that he could hang up his boots but the QPR legend signed up for a year at Carlisle United in League Two, but it has proven a successful venture after he was named as the club’s Player of the Year recently.
Hill, a fan favourite during his time at Ibrox, took to Twitter to thank everybody who voted, and Rangers supporters took the opportunity to remind him that he was still welcome back in Glasgow any time.

Here is their reaction to his message:
Hill, who was signed by Mark Warburton, admitted last April that he would be delighted to stay on in the Scottish Premiership, but he would surely jump at the chance to have another season up in Glasgow, though it almost certainly won’t happen.
Steven Gerrard is expected to sign a three-year deal to become the new Gers boss soon and although he will need some experience, he probably doesn’t need a defender who will be 40 early on in the 2018-19 campaign.
