Joe Worrall did not have the best of times during his loan spell at Rangers last season, and not many Gers fans were surprised when manager Steven Gerrard decided not to keep the Nottingham Forest defender at the club for the 2019-20 campaign.
The 22-year-old defender made 22 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, four in the Europa League, two in the Scottish League Cup, and four in the Scottish Cup, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
There were occasions when the youngster looked brilliant, but overall, the former England Under-21 international was not at his best.
Things have changed for Worrall at Forest now, as the defender has established himself as an important player in the team and has been brilliant for the Reds so far this season.
Worrall was in action for Forest in their 2-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage in London in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The defender played well for the Reds and was a rock at the back, and Forest fans were hugely impressed, as shown in the following tweets below.
According to WhoScored, the defender had a pass accuracy of 84.6%, won three headers, and made one tackle and six clearances.
