Rangers beat St Mirren 2-1 on Sunday afternoon, but some fans were left baffled by Jermain Defoe working as a pundit during the game.
The Gers went 1-0 down as Connor Ronan struck a stunner for St Mirren, meaning Steven Gerrard’s men had to come up with a response.
Kemar Roofe’s penalty brought Rangers level, with Alfredo Morelos bagging the winner mere seconds later.
Rangers still aren’t very convincing at the moment, but sit three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Steven Gerrard will want more from his side, and some Rangers fans want an explanation surrounding Jermain Defoe.
Rangers fans confused by Defoe role
As Rangers were in action in Paisley, striker Jermain Defoe was doing punditry for Sky Sports.
Having played for both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, Defoe was called in for punditry as the two London sides met.

Defoe is still available to be picked by Rangers whilst combining his playing duties with a coaching role.
Instead of being on the bench with Rangers, the striker – signed by Steven Gerrard in 2019 – was down in Manchester.
Some Rangers fans think the situation is a ‘joke’ and ‘bizarre’, believing that Defoe should be with Rangers instead of doing punditry.
Others think it’s just ‘not right’ that Defoe isn’t available for Rangers because he’s at other games, believing it to be ‘poor’ from the Gers to allow this.
