Gerrard’s Rangers have been in fine league form throughout November.

St. Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has been named the Scottish Premiership manager of the month after some excellent results as Saints boss throughout November – but Rangers fans are fuming Steven Gerrard was overlooked.
Since Celtic’s 6-0 drumming of the Saints, St. Johnstone have gone on an incredible run of five draws and one draw in their last six Scottish Premiership outings – keeping six consecutive clean sheets.
In November, Wright masterminded a 1-0 win over Neil Lennon’s Hibernian and the 4-0 annihilation of Hamilton, before holding Steve Clarke’s impressive Kilmarnock to a 0-0 draw at Perth on Saturday.
It has seen Wright pick up the accolade over the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Gerrard and Killie boss Steve Clarke, as St. Johnstone climb into fifth place. They have a game in hand over fourth-placed Hearts, sitting only two points behind.

But Gerrard’s league record this month reads three wins from three, after picking up results against newly-promoted St. Mirren, the 7-1 drubbing of Motherwell, and a comfortable 3-0 win over Livingston.
Rangers fans have reacted furiously to the decision to award Wright the trophy on Twitter, by stating that Gerrard deserved to pick up the Manager of the Month title more so.
