Ovie Ejaria’s loan coming to an end has left plenty of Glasgow Rangers fans wondering whether it is time to bring Greg Docherty back to Ibrox.

Rangers fans have been debating whether January is the time to bring Greg Docherty back from his loan spell after he scored another goal as Ovie Ejaria’s loan spell was terminated.
It was confirmed this week that Ejaria has returned to Liverpool despite joining the Gers on a season-long loan. Some would argue that he never showed his full potential during his time at Ibrox, but it has still left a void for Steven Gerrard to fill.
And some of the Ibrox faithful believe that Docherty could be the man to fill that void as he continues to impress down at Shrewsbury.
His long-range strike in the 2-2 draw with Peterborough on Saturday was his fifth in League One this term. His tally in all competitions stands at seven goals, with three of those strikes coming in his last six appearances.

Ejaria’s departure and Docherty’s form has prompted plenty of discussion amongst the Rangers supporters on social media regarding whether January is the right time to recall the latter.
Some feel that Docherty should be left with the Shrews until the summer while he is playing so well. But others are convinced that he could make an impact for Gerrard’s men during the second-half of this season.

Here is what some of the Rangers fans made of Docherty’s latest goal…
