Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to discuss the future of manager Mark Warburton.

Warburton was appointed the Rangers manager in the summer of 2015, and he has done a good job at Ibrox so far.

The Englishman guided the Gers to automatic promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership at the end of last season.

Rangers were expected to at least compete with Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title this season, but things are not going so well at the moment.

The Ibrox outfit suffered a 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen away from home at the Pittodrie Stadium in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.

The result means that Rangers are seventh in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with nine points from seven matches.

Warburton’s side are just four points above bottom side Partick Thistle and seven points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand.
