Murty could leave Rangers in the coming months, with his temporary Ibrox deal due to expire.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty is one of two front runners to replace Jaap Stam at Reading, according to the Daily Mirror. Murty was appointed interim boss at Ibrox last October, following the sacking of Pedro Caixinha.
And although the former Rangers youth coach made a bright start to his second spell in temporary charge, back-to-back home defeats have cast doubt over his future at Ibrox, beyond the end of his contract this summer.

Murty spent 11 years on Reading’s books, winning two promotions, and captained the Royals to the Premier League in 2005.

And Rangers fans, it seems, would not kick up a fuss should Murty depart. This is the view from Ibrox:
Murty has won 13 of his 21 Scottish Premiership matches as Rangers manager, a record which has seen the Gers climb from fourth to second in the standings.
Would the Rangers manager make a good Reading appointment?
