Rangers fans have been discussing bringing Kyle Lafferty back to Ibrox.

Rangers have been busy in the transfer market this summer, but manager Steven Gerrard will still be in the market for further additions to boost his squad.
The Gers have brought in six new signings this summer, as Allan McGregor, Jon Flanagan, Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson, Scott Arfield and Ovie Ejaria have all arrived at Ibrox.
However, one area of the pitch Rangers haven’t tackled is up front, with more options needed to support Alfredo Morelos, given that Eduardo Herrera is likely to leave the club and Jason Cummings has returned to parent club Nottingham Forest.

Rangers may well be linked with a host of strikers this summer, but fans have been discussing the possibility of bringing back one of the club’s former goalscorers.
Striker Kyle Lafferty has been back in Scottish football for a year now having joined Hearts last summer, and he enjoyed a fine campaign with 19 goals in all competitions.
The Northern Ireland international, 30, is expected to be a key player for Craig Levein’s men next season, but Rangers fans have been discussing whether the club should bring him back.

Many felt that Lafferty – who left Rangers for Sion in 2012 after hitting 38 goals in 138 games at Ibrox – would be a smart addition to the side, noting that he scored more goals against Celtic last season than the Rangers side put together.
Others aren’t quite so keen, feeling that Lafferty won’t add anything to Rangers at this stage in his career, and want the Gers to aim higher in order to back new boss Gerrard with the tools to take on Celtic.
