Glasgow Rangers-owned forward Ryan Hardie is enjoying a promising loan spell away from Ibrox.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter in the wake of Livingston’s win over St Mirren on Saturday to debate whether Ryan Hardie still has a future at Ibrox after he inspired the victory.
After being on the periphery of the first-team throughout the first-half of the season, Hardie left Rangers during the January transfer window, joining Livi on loan for the rest of the campaign.

And he has made a brilliant start to life with David Hopkin’s team, scoring four goals in as many games for the high-flyers. And it was his latest display that really caught the eye and prompted a huge amount of debate amongst the Gers fans on social media.
League leaders St Mirren took the lead inside two minutes, but Hardie quickly scored twice to turn the game on its head, including a volley that put the home side ahead. He also hit the crossbar as he went in search of his hat-trick.

The goals have led to something of a disagreement amongst the Rangers fans. Some believe that his run of form shows why he deserves another chance to make the grade at Ibrox, while others remain unconvinced that he is good enough for the Gers.
The form of Eduardo Herrera and the general lack of options available to Graeme Murty arguably mean that Hardie’s form should not go unnoticed by his parent club.
But one fan made a very interesting point that several Rangers managers have now overlooked the young forward and that should be a bigger indicator regarding his potential than goals in the second tier.
Here is the best of the reaction to Hardie’s brace in the 4-1 win…
