Moult has been linked with a move to Graeme Murty’s Rangers in each of the past two transfer windows and is again on the Ibrox radar, according to reports.

Rangers fans are seen during the Scottish Cup Quarter final match between Rangers and Hamilton Academical at Ibrox Stadium on March 4, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rangers have asked to be ‘kept abreast’ of Louis Moult’s situation, with the long-standing Ibrox target struggling for opportunities at Preston North End, according to the Daily Mail.

Allegedly courted by Rangers during the two previous transfer windows, the report claims Moult would be to a return to Scotland if his situation fails to improve.

The Englishman scored 50 goals in 98 games for last club Motherwell, but has yet to get off the mark down south.

And Rangers fans appear to be torn over whether or not they’d take him at Ibrox.

Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter…

Rangers’ striking pool currently consists of Jason Cummings, Alfredo Morelos, Kenny Miller, Eduardo Herrera, Joe Dodoo and Michael O’Halloran, although none of their futures are secure beyond the summer.

The Gers will be most concerned about losing Cummings, who is on loan from Nottingham Forest, and Morelos, their 17-goal top scorer, although the latter signed a new long-term contract earlier this month.

Should Rangers go back in for Moult?
