Rangers thrashed Livingston 3-0 away from home on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers got back to winning ways on Sunday afternoon by beating Livingston 3-0 at Almondvale Stadium, recovering from Wednesday’s defeat to Kilmarnock.
The Gers had seen Celtic beat St Mirren and Hamilton Academical, meaning they needed to win away at Livingston to keep their title bid alive – and they did just that.
Ryan Jack scored in the first half to put Rangers 1-0 up, before Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos added goals in the second half to hand Rangers a 3-0 away victory.
In the process of winning, Rangers got some form of revenge for losing at Livingston back in September, and will now look to put together a strong run of results off the back of Sunday’s win.
Rangers fans will have been pleased with a host of players, and also seemingly loved the performance of another player involved in the game – Livingston defender Craig Halkett.
Halkett, 23, came up through the Rangers youth ranks before being released by Mark Warburton in 2016, when he then moved on to Livingston, where he has become a star.

The Livi captain is out of contract this summer, and many Rangers want to see him return to Ibrox this summer, given that loanee Joe Worrall will return to Nottingham Forest and Gareth McAuley is out of contract.
Fans praised Halkett, suggesting that they would take him back in a heartbeat and Rangers should do everything to land him on a pre-contract agreement, with others adding that he must be the next Gers signing having impressed on Sunday.
