Rangers fans will be desperate to see new additions at Ibrox in January.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty is just days away from his first transfer window in charge at Ibrox and fans will be looking for the 43-year-old to invest in a side that needs strengthening – and supporters want free agent Steven Caulker.
English Championship club Queens Park Rangers confirmed on their official website that the 25-year-old had mutually agreed to leave the London-based club, terminating the commanding centre-back’s contract with immediate effect.
Caulker, who has one cap for England in which he scored in a 4-2 loss against Sweden, was set to see his contract at Loftus Road expire in the summer anyway. With the January transfer window approaching, becoming a free agent may aid his chances of a move elsewhere.

Centre-back Caulker has recently discussed his off-the-field problems with the Guardian, speaking out on his addictions to gambling and alcohol and how he has even contemplated suicide.
However, now likely to be on the lookout for a new club following his contract release, Rangers fans want to sign the former Liverpool and Southampton defender, who has also worked with Brendan Rodgers at Swansea City.
One fan even decided to Tweet Murty directly, informing the former Reading defender that Caulker would “plug a hole” in defence.
