Rangers didn’t get much out of Umar Sadiq – but he could now make a stunning move this summer.
The Gers brought Sadiq in on loan from Roma in the summer of 2018, adding him as a wildcard striker to support Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty.
Sadiq struggled to make an impact though, and was sent back to Italy after just a matter of months having made only four appearances for Rangers.
Now though, Sadiq is going from strength to strength. He hit 23 goals in 52 games for Serbian side Partizan before heading to Spain with Almeria last summer.
With 17 goals in 32 for the second-tier side, he could now earn a big move to a European giant – just as Darwin Nunez did when leaving Almeria for Benfica last summer.
Spanish newspaper AS now report that Bayern Munich want to sign Sadiq in a stunning move that could cost £52million as Almeria are sticking to his €60million release clause.

That would be quite remarkable for the Nigerian striker, and Rangers have been taking to Twitter to share their confusion at the rumour.
