Glasgow Rangers won the reserve league last term and their captain will now leave Ibrox on loan until January.

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that Ibrox academy ace Cammy Palmer has joined Partick Thistle on loan (official Gers website).
The 19-year-old midfielder, who captained last season’s Reserve League winning side, signed a contract extension in June to keep him at Rangers until 2021, and links up with the Jags until January.
According to the Thistle website, the Palmer has represented Scotland at Under-17s level before going on to play with the Northern Ireland Under-19s, playing four times and scoring once at that level.

Palmer was part of the Rangers reserve group who took part in a games programme in 2017-18 in which Rangers took on the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester City (official Gers website), something they will be embarking on again following their withdrawal from the SPFL Reserve League.
