The Ibrox winger, who officially joined Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at the start of the summer, shared the Scot’s post on Instagram.

Jordan Jones of Rangers is seen in action during the pre season friendly match between Rangers and Oxford United at Ibrox Stadium on July 07, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Rangers winger Jordan Jones has shared a photo of Oli McBurnie wearing a Gers shirt with his name on.

McBurnie, a lifelong Rangers fan, briefly became the most expensive Scottish footballer ever when he moved from Swansea City to Sheffield United for a reported fee of around £20 million earlier this summer.

But it seems the striker’s new-found exposure has not affected his love for Rangers, as shown by the two posts featured below.

Jones officially arrived at Rangers from Kilmarnock at the start of the summer transfer window and has enjoyed a bright start to his Ibrox career.

The 24-year-old has appeared on five occasions for Steven Gerrard’s side and emerged victorious on each of those, providing an assist in that time.

McBurnie, who has never played with Jones, was strongly linked with a move to Rangers during last summer’s transfer window, but remained at Swansea – for whom he scored 23 Championship goals last season.
