Ibrox club Rangers are looking at Sean Dyche as a potential new manager following the departure of Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa, according to The Times.
What’s the story?
Gerrard has left Rangers for Villa.
The former Liverpool midfielder has replaced Dean Smith at the Premier League club.
So, Rangers now need a replacement for Gerrard.
The Times are reporting that Burnley manager Dyche is a top contender for the managerial role at Ibrox.
It has been reported that Dyche worked with Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson at Watford.
The Englishman was reportedly favoured at Rangers boardroom level before then Gers director of football Mark Allen brought in Gerrard.

Could Sean Dyche to Rangers happen?
Not many of us thought that Gerrard would leave Rangers for Villa.
Especially after what the Englishman said after being linked with the Newcastle United managerial role.
But here we are.
In football, we just never know for sure, do we?
However, in our opinion, it is going to be extremely tough for Rangers to bring in Dyche now.
Burnley are unlikely to let go of a manager now who has been at the club since 2012 and has established them in the Premier League.
The 50-year-old himself may not be willing to jump ship during a season.
