Rangers defender Lee Wallace has revealed to The Scotsman what he told his teammate Philippe Senderos after the defeat to Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
Mark Warburton’s Rangers suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
Senderos made his competitive debut for the Gers in the game, having joined the Ibrox outfit on a free transfer in the summer following his departure from Grasshoppers at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The former Arsenal and Aston Villa defender had an afternoon to forget, as he was dismissed in the 75th minute of the Old Firm derby.
Rangers left-back Wallace has said that the 31-year-old centre-back will bounce back.
The 29-year-old Scotland international has also revealed what he told Senderos after the match.

“I’m not disappointed in Philippe, no chance,” Wallace told The Scotsman. “We’re just disappointed about the full game and going down to ten men made it difficult.
“Philippe was rightly sent off but I spoke to him and told him not to be too down. He’s a professional. He’s done more in the game than me, so he knows the situation.”
