Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers will face Neil Lennon’s Celtic at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby this afternoon.
Nikola Katic of Rangers
The 22-year-old defender – who joined Rangers from Slaven Belupo in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £1.5 million – has said that the Celtic fans make it tough for the Gers at Celtic Park.
The Croatia international believes that it will be the same for the Hoops when they take on Steven Gerrard’s Gers at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby in a few hours’ time.
Katic told The Scottish Sun: “The fans will be a big factor again because we have all the fans supporting us.
“When you play at Celtic Park you have 60,000 on your neck. Everyone hates you, so it’s difficult to play. It should be the same for them when they arrive at Ibrox.”

Big game
With both Rangers and Celtic having made strong starts to the season, this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership game is going to take huge importance.
True, it is not a title-decider, but the winners will get a huge psychological edge for the coming weeks and months.
While Rangers will head into the match as favourites, Celtic do have some quality players such as James Forrest and Scott Brown to pick up all three points from the encounter.
