Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers gave Myles Beerman his first start against Kilmarnock yesterday.

Myles Beerman has told Glasgow Rangers’ official website that he had no idea he would start for the Ibrox side against Kilmarnock until Pedro Caixinha announced his team at a press conference.
Caixinha took the surprise step of naming his Rangers team two days before their match at Rugby Park.
The Portuguese boss handed debuts to both Beerman and David Bates last night.
And Beerman says that he found out that he would be starting via social media website Twitter.
“I found out I was playing on Twitter when the manager did his press conference, I was definitely surprised, I can’t describe the feeling,” Beerman said.
Beerman largely impressed during his first start for Rangers yesterday, but he was unable to help his side pick up a victory.
Rangers could only manage to draw 0-0 against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, with the team’s performance being largely disappointing.
Whether Beerman remains in Rangers’ starting line-up remains to be seen, as Caixinha’s side have failed to pick up a victory in either of their last two matches.
Rangers are next in action at the weekend, when they play against second placed Aberdeen.
