Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers defender Lee Wallace is reportedly on the radar of Wigan Athletic.
Rangers defender Lee Wallace
It has been reported that Wigan manager Paul Cook is hoping to use his friendship with Rangers manager Steven Gerrard and secure the services of the 31-year-old left-back in a cut-price deal.
The Scotland international has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2011 when he joined from Heart of Midlothian for a transfer fee reported by The Scotsman to be worth £1.5 million.
According to Transfermarkt.com, Wallace is out of contract at Rangers in the summer of 2019.

January exit makes sense
Wallace has made just one appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com, and it is clear that he is going to struggle for playing time for the Gers this campaign.
It would make sense for Rangers to offload the left-back in the January transfer window and get some money for his transfer.
As for Wallace, Wigan are playing at a decent level in the Championship in England, and joining the Latics would not be a bad move for the Scotland international.
