Rangers defender Lee Wallace has told The Scottish Sun that he wants to remain at the club for the rest of his playing career.
The left-back has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2011 when he joined the Gers from Scottish rivals Heart of Midlothian.
According to BBC Sport at the time, the Ibrox outfit had to pay Hearts a transfer fee of £1.5 million in order to secure the services of the defender after their bids of £300,000 and £1m were rejected.
Wallace has established himself as one of the best and most influential players at Rangers over the years.

The Scotland international was the best left-back in the Scottish Championship last season, and he seems to be settling in well in the Scottish Premiership at the moment.
Wallace has revealed that he plans to remain at Rangers for the rest of his playing career. The former Hearts defender has also revealed his plan to manage the Gers one day.

“I hopefully see myself being here for the rest of my career and staying longer than the three years I’m contracted to just now,” Wallace told The Scottish Sun. “I know it might always be labelled at me that could I have gone down south.
“But my decision was always clear. I always wanted to stay here and going south didn’t interest me at that point. Staying here was the simplest decision I’ve ever made in my football career.”
“Absolutely, of course,” said Wallace when asked whether managing Rangers would be the ultimate ambition once he hangs up his boots. “It’s a top job.”
Rangers will take on Motherwell at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
