Less than two years after he made his debut for Rangers, Kyle Bradley has announced that he is leaving Ibrox.

Bradley replaced Martyn Waghorn with five minutes remaining of Rangers’ 2-1 win at St Johnstone in May 2017 but failed to feature again for the Gers’ first team.

Instead, the 20-year-old central defender spent the bulk of the past two campaigns on loan to fourth tier sides, Clyde and Annan Athletic.

But it appears he has not done enough to warrant a new contract at Rangers, where his existing one is due to expire this summer.

Posting on Twitter on Wednesday evening, Bradley wrote:

Two of Bradley’s young Rangers colleagues, Liam Burt and Scott Gray, have also confirmed their exits on social media this week and further departures are expected.

The Gers have already announced the free transfer signings of Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Steven Davis ahead of the new season.

Steven Davis of Rangers arrives ahead of the Ladbrokes Premiership match between Hibernian and Rangers at Easter Road on March 08, 2019 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

Are Rangers right to release Bradley?
