Rangers defender James Tavernier has taken to Twitter to send a message to Lee Hodson, who has left the Ibrox club for Gillingham.
As announced on Gillingham’s official website today, the League One club in England have signed Hodson on a free transfer following his departure from Rangers this summer.
The 27-year-old right-back joined Rangers in the summer of 2016, but he failed to make an impact at Ibrox and was not given a new contract following the expiry of his original one.
Rangers right-back Tavernier has sent a message to Hodson on Twitter, and the newly-signed Gillingham right-back has responded to him.
Hodson has also taken to Twitter to express his delight at signing a contract with Gillingham.
Tavernier himself has been linked with a move away from Rangers in the summer transfer window.

According to The Daily Mail, Aston Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – are interested in the former Newcastle United right-back.
West Bromwich Albion and Brighton and Hove Albion are also reported to be interested in Tavernier.
