Glasgow Rangers defender James Tavernier seems to rate Ibrox assistant manager Jimmy Nicholl highly.

Nicholl was appointed as the Rangers assistant manager in January 2018 after leaving his role at Scottish Championship club Falkirk, as reported by BBC Sport.
The 61-year-old former Northern Ireland international defender had two separate spells at Rangers in the 1980s.
Tavernier has developed into one of the best right-backs in the Scottish Premiership this season.
The 26-year-old former Newcastle United defender has scored six goals and provided eight assists in 30 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Gers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Tavernier told The Sunday Post: “I have had one-on-one sessions with the manager, and since Jimmy Nicholl came in, he has helped me out massively as well.
“It’s always good to have someone who has played your position, and who has their own opinion. Jimmy was demanding high standards in training from the moment he arrived.”

Title challenge over?
Rangers are enjoy a good season, but the Gers’ chances of winning the Scottish Premiership title are over.
That’s because Graeme Murty’s side lost 3-2 to bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
It is hard to see Brendan Rodgers’s side drop enough points for Rangers to catch up.
