Rangers defender Danny Wilson has told The Scottish Sun that Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is a terrific footballer.
Dembele is one of the best young players in entire Europe and has been in stunning form for Celtic so far this season.
The 20-year-old has scored 32 goals in 48 appearances in all appearances for the Bhoys so far this campaign.
The France Under-21 international striker will be a key player for Celtic against Rangers in the Scottish Cup this weekend.
Celtic will take on Old Firm rivals Rangers at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the semi-finals of the prestigious cup competition on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers defender Wilson, who is 25 years of age and operates as a centre-back, has praised Celtic striker Dembele.
“He is terrific,” Wilson told The Scottish Sun about Dembele. “All their front players are, but he has scored a large number of goals this year. His presence, his physicality, his touch, he is a top player.
“He is very difficult to keep out when he is on his game but that is the task we have got this weekend, and the other forward players that they have. If you give them an inch, they can do a lot of damage.”
Dembele’s recent performances have not been great, but there can be no doubt that he is having a stunning season.
The youngster has taken his game to a whole new level at Celtic, and the Frenchman will certainly be determined to score against the Gers.
