Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso is currently out injured with a broken nose.

Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso has told fans on Twitter that he is set to undergo an operation on Friday to correct his broken nose.
The 23-year-old centre-back suffered a broken nose during Rangers’ 2-0 defeat to Motherwell in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup at Hampden Park, which forced him off the field of play in the 67th minute.

It has seen the Portuguese centre-back miss Rangers last two outings against Klimarnock and Hearts, being replaced by youngster Ross McCrorie at the back.
Now, Cardoso is set for an extended period on the sidelines after confirming on his personal Twitter account that he will go under the knife to correct his broken nose.
Rangers’ number four joined the Scottish giants this summer from Liga NOS side Vitoria Setubal and has impressed alongside veteran defender Bruno Alves, during his 14 league and cup appearances.

However, he will not be available for Saturday’s Scottish Premiership clash against Partick Thistle, as interim boss Graeme Murty looks to build on the 3-1 victory over Hearts last time out.
Three points for the Gers and they could leapfrog Hibernian into third place, if Neil Lennon’s side fail to beat Dundee at Easter Road.
