Glasgow Rangers youngster Dapo Mebude is one of the brightest youngsters at Ibrox, and has now made his under-19 international debut.

Rangers youngster Dapo Mebude has taken to Twitter to react after making his debut for Scotland’s under-19s and playing a key role in helping them claim a 2-1 win away to Wales.
The Scots have got their 2019 European Championship qualification campaign off to a good start as they beat their group’s hosts in their opening game, with former Gers youngster Billy Gilmour scoring both of their goals.

The winner came five minutes from the end and came from the penalty spot. And while Gilmour scored it, it was Rangers starlet Mebude who won the spot-kick when he was bundled over.
Mebude came off the bench to make his debut for the under-19s, and after the game, he took to social media to comment on making his bow at that level.
Here is what the 17-year-old posted on Twitter…
The game arguably acts as a statement for the great work that Rangers’ academy is doing. Gers-owned trio Jordan Houston, Glenn Middleton and Zak Rudden started in the win.
And Mebude was joined by teammates Matthew Shiels and Stephen Kelly on the bench.
Scotland face San Marino and Sweden in the final two games before the international break comes to an end, so Mebude may be looking for that first start before returning to Ibrox.
