Rangers ace Danny Wilson believes new signing Jordan Rossiter plays with a maturity beyond his years and that the Ibrox club are lucky to have him on board, Evening Times report.
Rossiter joined the Glasgow club from Liverpool this summer – a deal which was widely praised north of the border considering many had tipped the player for a bright future in England.
The England Under-19 international made his debut against Stranraer in the League Cup, and since then he hasn’t looked back as impressive performances have left his teammates singing his praises.
Talking to reporters, another former Liverpool player Wilson believes the new Rangers midfielder has an abundance of qualities and the club are fortunate to have him.
“I know it is a cliché but he plays with a maturity beyond his years. You saw on Saturday how good he was. He covers every blade of grass,” Wilson told the Evening Times.
“He likes to tackle and I don’t think there are a lot of young players coming through that put the foot in and like to do the dirty side of the game. We are lucky to have him.
“It is good work going on behind the scenes that have allowed us to get him. He has come in and done really well so that bodes well for the future.”

Rossiter, 19, could have arguably gone on to play for a leading Championship club pushing for promotion, and therefore his decision to move to the Gers was a real coup for Mark Warburton’s men.
Rangers now boast one of the biggest squads in the Scottish Premiership and with plenty of options available, Warburton has the option to mix it up depending on the opposition and other circumstances.
