Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers could reportedly announce Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as the Gers’ manager on Friday.

It has been reported that the former Liverpool midfielder has agreed a three-year contract with Rangers, and that the deal could be announced on Friday.
Gerrard has reportedly been given assurance of investment in the summer transfer window to compete with Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Meanwhile, former Hibernian forward Tam McManus has shared his inside knowledge about new investment in Rangers on social networking site Twitter.

Bold appointment?
Gerrard is in charge of the Liverpool Under-18 side at the moment and does not have any experience of managing a first team so far.
It is quite a bold appointment from Rangers, but it could well paid off if there is good investment in the squad and if the former England international midfielder is given time.
Rangers should also be realistic about what they can achieve next season, and should not expect Gerrard to turn the Ibrox outfit into a better team than Celtic rightaway.
