Steven Gerrard takes his Rangers side away from Ibrox for the first time in this Europa League group stage.

Rangers travel to Young Boys on Thursday, looking to maintain their 100 per cent record in this year’s Europa League group stage.
And Steven Gerrard’s team could come up against a former Celtic player in Switzerland.
Saidy Janko played 19 times for the Bhoys, but never against Rangers – who were a Championship side during the Swiss’s solitary full season in Glasgow.
But after joining one of Rangers’ Group G rivals on loan from another, FC Porto, this summer, Janko is only six appearances shy of that tally – having missed just one of their games so far.

Incidentally, it was a former Rangers right-back, Kevin Mbabu, that the 23-year-old replaced at Young Boys – although the latter has played further up the pitch at times.
Janko has already demonstrated his attacking prowess, contributing directly towards two of his side’s goals, and his dribbling skills are something that the Rangers left-back – most likely, Borna Barisic – should be particularly aware of.

His predecessor, Mbabu, moved to German football with VFB Wolfsburg, costing a reported fee of £8.3 million (Transfermarkt).
