Rangers have today confirmed a new signing, with United States youngster Aaron Cervantes joining the club from Orange County SC.
The Gers have a partnership with Orange County, and they have sent youngster Cammy Palmer on loan to the American side.
Ex-Rangers duo Rob Kiernan and Harry Forrester are currently turning out for them too, and Rangers now signed a first player from Orange County.
As confirmed on the club’s official website, Rangers have snapped up Orange County goalkeeper Aaron Cervantes, and their plans are clear already.
Cervantes will continue training with Orange County before heading out on loan to a European club in January for first-team experience.
Cervantes represented the United States in the Under-17 World Cu last year, and already has 18 first-team appearances to his name with Orange County.

Rangers will have real hope that Cervantes can become the club’s next American first-team star, having seen Claudio Reyna, Carlos Bocanegra, DaMarcus Beasley, Maurice Edu, Alejandro Bedoya and Gedion Zelalem feature at Ibrox.
Rangers’ Head of Academy Craig Mulholland has admitted that he is ‘delighted’ to sign Cervantes, believing that he has made ‘excellent progress’ with Orange County.
