Michael Beale has sent a message to former Rangers winger Daniel Candeias on Twitter.
The Portuguese star posted a tweet in reference to a goal that he scored away to Spartak Moscow in November of 2018.
Candeias, who left Rangers last summer, was one of the Gers’ better players on the night as Steven Gerrard’s side lost 4-3 in a Europa League group-stage game some 18 months ago.
And Beale, a first-team coach at Ibrox, has said that it’s his favourite goal that the 32-year-old scored during his time in Glasgow.
Canedeias now plies his trade in Turkey with Gençlerbirligi and has scored three goals in 24 league outings for the club this season.
He spent two years at Rangers after being signed by Pedro Caixinha in the summer of 2017.
There are quite a few fans of the Glasgow club that will argue he could still be a Rangers player, with Sheyi Ojo, on a season-long loan from Liverpool, being very hit and miss.
