Rangers brought Jake Hastie to Ibrox this summer – and then sent him to Rotherham United.

Rangers landed a whole host of wingers over the summer, and one of them has already been forced to go out on loan.
The Gers signed Jordan Jones, Sheyi Ojo, Brandon Barker and Ryan Kent, as well as securing versatile attacker Greg Stewart, who can also play out wide.
Another wide addition came in the form of youngster Jake Hastie, who joined the club from Motherwell having shown real potential in the second half of last season.
Hastie will have been hoping to feature for Rangers, but that hasn’t happened, as he has instead been sent out on loan to Rotherham United in England’s third tier.
Rangers will hope he comes back a better player, just as Greg Docherty has after his spell with Shrewsbury Town, and he’s made a decent start so far.
The 21-year-old has hit two goals in just two league appearances for Rotherham, and excelled in Saturday’s 6-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers.

Hastie looks set for a big season season with the Millers, and after taking to Twitter to celebrate his goal and win, Hastie received a message from Rangers coach Michael Beale too.
Beale urged Hastie to keep going at Rotherham, with his progress so far ‘fantastic’, and it just shows that Rangers are keeping very close tabs on him even whilst he’s in Yorkshire.
