Tottenham Hotspur are through to the next round of the Europa League after beating Wolfsberger 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

Spurs won the first leg 4-1 in Hungary last week, and just had to see the job through against the Austrian side last night.

Dele Alli got the ball rolling with a stunning overhead kick, before he crossed for Carlos Vinicius to head home the second.

Alli set up Gareth Bale for number three, and Vinicius added gloss to the win by hitting a fourth late on.

Spurs advance with an 8-1 aggregate win, and whilst the focus was on Alli’s superb performance, there was a debut for Marcel Lavinier too.

The 20-year-old joined Spurs from Chelsea over the summer, and his impressive displays in Premier League 2 have seen Jose Mourinho promote him.

Lavinier played 16 minutes as he got his first taste of senior football, and he received a message of support from Michael Beale.

The Rangers coach worked with Lavinier in the Chelsea youth setup, and Beale admitted that it was ‘fantastic’ for the right back to play first-team action.
