According to a recent report in The Scottish Sun, Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic are interested in signing Tomas Kalas, who is on loan at Bristol City from Chelsea.
The report claimed that Kalas is rated at £5 million by Chelsea, and that Celtic are heading the chase for the 25-year-old Czech Republic international defender.
A new report in The Scottish Sun has now claimed a twist in Rangers and Celtic’s (reported) chase of the Chelsea-owned defender, who can operate as a centre-back or as a right-back.
It has been reported that City are determined to keep hold of Kalas for the 2019-20 campaign.

The former Sigma Olomouc defender joined the Robins on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer of 2018.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that City, who are aiming to win promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs, want to keep Kalas for next season as well.
So far this season, Kalas has made 27 appearances in the Championship for City, according to WhoScored.
